Band Supplies for 7^th – 12^th Grade

Be ready to play the first day!!

1. 3-ring binder with protector sheets AND pencil holder (with pencils).

2. Concert attire:

Men – Black or navy suit w/white shirt and any color tie OR all black

(dressy pants, black button down long sleeve shirt and any color tie).

Women – All black. Dress or dressy pants/skirt and black blouse.

3. Any royal blue Runnels School sports shirt or band shirt (for Pep Rally).

4. 7^th Graders only: Standard of Excellence Jazz Ensemble Method for your particular instrument.

5. Instrument Supplies:

Woodwinds:

Flutes: Polishing cloth and cloth to clean inside of flute,

Flutists Friend lyre and flip folder.

Clarinets & Saxes: At least 10 reeds, cork grease, cleaning

swab, polishing cloth, lyre and flip folder.

Brass:

Valve oil, slide grease, mouthpiece brush, valve casing brush,

snake, lyre and flip folder.

Percussion:

Polishing cloth, flip folder that attaches to drum, strap or

harness so you will be able to march with drum.
