Notes:
- Completing the Runnels Gold Seal Curriculum will guarantee that you have taken the courses required for TOPS and for admission to most universities. Of course, you will still need to earn the required grades and test scores.

- Advanced Mathematics or Advanced Mathematics II are not required for graduation, but are required for gold seal diploma.

- Health and PE (2 full units including ½ unit of health.)

- Foreign language is not required for graduation, but is required for the gold seal diploma. Both TOPS and all state colleges require 2 years of the same foreign language.

- Fine Arts & Performance Classes (2 full units or 1 unit of Fine Arts Survey - not required for graduation, but required for TOPS and gold seal)

- In addition to the above requirements, students will need to earn an overall GPA of 3.0 in order to receive the gold seal diploma.

- In order to receive the gold seal diploma students will need to earn credit for at least one AP course.
