To
celebrate Earth Day 2008 and to increase awareness of environmental
issues, the sixth grade science classes have completed an
environmental unit in the computer lab.
Each group of students created
a computer-based activity on an environmental topic. Using
websites, online videos, and our Elementary Library's collection
as resources, the students created interactive "Jeopardy"
boards, crossword puzzles, and "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire"
activities, and narrated Power Point presentations.
Mrs. Randall's third and
fourth quarter 6th grade art students contributed original
artwork for the site.
